Nervous System Interference

This is probably the most overlooked area of healthcare. The nervous system is the master control system, which controls all functions that take place in the body, down to the smallest cell. The brain can be seen as a computer with thousands of “programs” which regulate all functions. When these programs develop problems (like glitches or bugs in your computer program), they no longer regulate as they are designed to do and health problems result.

We utilize advanced, cutting edge techniques such as Applied Kinesiology, BodyTalk, and Total Body Modification to reset these nervous system programs. This makes a tremendous difference in enabling us to get to the root of your problems.

Microbes

There has been a huge increase in the prevalence of microbes in today’s world, which can have devastating effects on health. There are 5 main categories of microbes: virus, bacteria, parasites, molds, and yeast/candida. The last three, in my experience, are largely overlooked and/or not treated properly by the vast majority of health care professionals. (For our approach to viruses and bacteria, select “recurrent colds/infections” under “Conditions we Treat.”

Yeast overgrowth is extremely common today. The major reasons for this is over-consumption of refined carbohydrates, especially sugar along with stress, antibiotic use, birth control pills. They contribute to a wide variety of symptoms such as fatigue, depression, sinus and allergy problems, gas/bloating and weight gain.

Our exposure to parasites has greatly increased over the past decade; many feel it has reached epidemic proportions. Parasites refer to the wide variety of microorganisms that exist in a parasitic relationship with the body and cause health problems especially digestive, sinus and skin problems. Molds, which are everywhere, have similar consequences to yeast/candida. We have developed considerable expertise over the past 16 years in detecting and correcting problems in these areas.

Hormonal Imbalances

A major area of concern today, especially for women who experience a wide-variety of hormone-related problems including menstrual cramps, PMS, infertility, menopausal symptoms, osteoporosis, and an alarming rise in hormone-related cancers, especially breast cancer.

The conventional medical approach has failed to find truly safe and effective solutions to these problems. For example, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) prescribed for millions of women has been shown conclusively to dangerously increase a woman’s risk of cancer, heart disease and stroke, while having little positive benefit.

A holistic approach is critical here because hormones cannot be isolated myopically from the rest of the bodymind complex. As the other seven areas of our holistic approach are brought into balance, this has positive effects on hormonal balance. Also, certain very specific natural supplements can make a considerable difference. While there are still cases where conventional HRT is appropriate, many women benefit greatly from our natural approach.

Energy Depletions

This is the most important area in achieving and maintaining optimal health. Hippocrates said “The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well”. What is most important is that one has enough of it, otherwise the bodymind will simply not function properly and any other efforts one makes to improve health will be limited.

This is the most common depletion we find and also the most overlooked. So many New Yorkers, due to the cumulative effects of different types of stressors are seriously deficient in this basic vital energy. We have extremely effective methods for increasing this basic energy, which can usually be accomplished rather quickly.
